Situated adjacent to Nanjing's central area and Purple Mountain, the XiXia project site is a natural extension of the region's rich natural and historical heritage, featuring a vibrant, seasonally changing landscape and a notable, well-preserved section of the city wall that has been partially reconstructed. This setting, where nature and the historic wall harmoniously coexist, serves as a key inspiration in the design of Powerlong XiXia. The wall not only guides visitors through the development with its strategic turns and gateways that reveal stunning views of parks, plazas, and water features, but also influences the architectural facades, incorporating raised gardens and water accents. The design capitalizes on the wall's historic significance and visual appeal, using it as a directional tool that enhances pedestrian flow and creates scenic entrances, while integrating comfortable seating, green trellises, and inviting dining areas to enrich the urban experience.
