Series of landscape studies composed from the overlays of preserved natural sites and the sites that were heavily articulated by humans. These landscapes merge deserts and islands, mountainous and flat regions around the globe.

The textures were created using style transfer neural networks trained on custom crafted datasets with the goal to reimagine the existing topographies through the lens of the Anthropocene.

3D environments were created with the displacement maps generated from the received style transfer images. Additional topography sculpting and refinement - using Z-Brush. Rendering - Octane for C4D
