Our project reimagines Downtown Los Angeles by abstracting and tessellating elements of its existing typologies. Using AI, we identified hidden alignments within these elements and mapped them against modern urban strategies, creating new interior spaces and facades.
This approach bridges historic spatial patterns with contemporary high-density needs, resulting in live-work spaces that integrate LA’s evolving population and cultural economy. Our design enhances historical aesthetics through innovative use of color, texture, and form, generating new alignments that meet modern societal demands and push urban typologies forward.
